AI and School Education

AI is no longer a distant future technology. It is becoming a daily tool that students can access at home, at school, and on their own devices.

The question is not simply whether AI should be used in education. The real question is how education should change when AI becomes part of everyday learning.

Schools have traditionally focused on memorization, correct answers, and standardized evaluation. These are still important, but AI changes the balance. When students can easily receive explanations, summaries, and examples, education must place more value on how they ask questions, compare information, and make judgments.

This does not make teachers less important. In fact, teachers may become even more important. AI can support access to information, but teachers help students develop curiosity, responsibility, communication, and independent thinking.

The future of education will not be “AI or teachers.”
It will be a new relationship where AI supports learning, while teachers guide students toward better judgment and deeper understanding.
